Did you know that Windows now has a new Apple Music app ?

Interesting but I don’t really care as I am fully on Mac.
The biggest joke is that Apple Music is running worst on MacOS as Apple hasn’t managed to do sample rate switches for connected DAPs and DACs!
All 3rd party apps like Roon, Tidal, Qobuz are working around that but the OS manufacturer is failing for years.
Therefore I am playing Apple Music solely on IOS devices or on the DAPs

This utility does a decent job of switch sampling rates on Apple Music. There is a slight delay in sound when switching and on few occasions the sampling rate is not correct. However, many DACs I've owned have a slight delay when sampling rates change so not a big deal.

I’ve briefly tested this tool some months ago but it wasn’t working reliably on my Mac Mini M1 unfortunately

You have a free trial if you want to try it. I'm an old user of Total commander on Windows and I really like this one on macOs. Old habits...

As of today, new owner of a DX320!
So far love the feel and weight. Even though it's 3 times as thick as my Sony 1iii phone, with cases on, they weigh about the same lol. And the screen is bigger so that's a plus at night when watching media in bed.

I use it as my main dac now to my desktop amps, it is that good.

Yeah so far I've only listened and A/B for a little while, but the quality of audio from Amp13 is crazy good to me I'm so happy!

How do you connect that set up together ?

I use the line out of AMP12 or AMP14. It comes from the dacs, bypassing the amp section. I can go with either true balanced out to balanced in or to single ended input.

I don't know. LO is line out and it is 4.4 TRRRS then there is the IC interconnect to either R and L RCA or a balanced 4 pin connector. I make my own but they are available for buy. Many people use the LO for this purpose.

Amp12 and Amp14 have two 4.4mm outputs. The primary is for headphones and uses amplification done by the module itself. The secondary output completely bypasses the amplification stage, it just feeds sound directly from the dac. Basically you just use the dap as a source for another amp instead of using it as a preamp.

Digital out can be done via usb C or Coax, and you need no amp module for that

Yeah but essentially conversion and amplification would be done elsewhere is my point I’m doing badly at getting across ?
