DX260 Optimization guide is finally available. It is combined with DX320 as except for number of modules to disable (more on DX320) there are not any other differences. I also uploaded the APK for SmartPak so you do not have to use Play.

New update. OTA
Thanks, I just updated without any issues. I am not sure if i needed to update, but I guess it cant hurt.

Whenever we get updates I always think of the guy a few months back that was obsessed about his volume getting limited...not going to worry about it lol

@Paul - iBasso, are you planning to integrate a parametric equalizer into the Mango OS? The existing one is very basic and is missing a lot of bands/parameters.

Otherwise, the DX260 is really really a good DAP :)
The Mango OS, not Android, is stripped down. To add the parametric EQ, further features are needed from Android so Mango will not have it.

@Paul - iBasso
Hello, I have successfully completed the update. Now you can add missing album covers. But how? I can only load a cover for each track individually, but the cover is still missing in the album view. After scanning the library, the loaded covers have disappeared again. I don't know this from my Fiio m17. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

Is anyone having issues with inserting/retrieving SD cards? I've seen some YouTube videos on the subject and a post here and there. Currently can't insert SD cards without feeling like I'm going to break something. Have emailed ibasso but no reply (and the distributor where I live)...

It won't break. Just use a dull instrument to put in. I use my fingernail. There is a spring in there that is tough and that is why there is resistance. If it gets stuck you can remove back cover and release it. T4 I think is the Torx you need. I took apart DX340 last night which is a bit more complicated than DX260.

What version? Mine doesn't receive any.
I still dream about Android 12+ update though
IF they upgrade OS it will be Android 13 which is what they should have done in the first place as DX180 came out 6 months later on Android 13. My guess is they might do it but not a priority. Maybe your country is blocking the update. Wait for Paul to come back. IF you have any issues you are SOL for 2 weeks. They will release a local update version too.
