Those who bought the Valentinum case do you have gap on top?
Ya mines got the same gap, it could have been made a smidge shorter, but there might be a reason. It doesnt bother me at all. You got the black leather?

It's all the way in. But has big gap at.top.
The seller said it's normal but offered me to return it not happy. Pic posted by others don't have as big of a gap. He said there will be gap but I feel it's too big
The gap on mine looks the same. Just return it then. You can get the green case or there is those other leather cases from China on AE or just use the cheap TPU case
Your DX260 is loose in the case, like sliding around loose? On the top flap on mine there is a foamy block above the card slot...did you remove that?

That's terrible workmanship, just get a Jutem leather case for your DX260, it's perfect fitting.

Not really, the gap on mine is the same and its not a big deal. My DX260 doesnt slide around in the case. The gap really isnt that big. I still think they are the nicest cases. Those Jutem cases are alright too, but I think the Valentinum are a bit nicer. If he doesnt like the Valentinum, just send it back..case closed mystery solved.

I have a very small gap in my case that allows the DX260 to slide a little bit. Doesn't bother me. I got the case with the DX260 and have the iBasso green case which has never been used too. Like the look of the black case and screen is protected without having to use a screen protector.

I've uploaded photos earlier on and still think this case is awesome and can totally recommend it: https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005...il_item.3.45c143cepxX0tX&gatewayAdapt=glo2fra. Especially after modding it with a belt clip/pouch holder:).
Wow This is turning out to be case wars lol. Ya thats a nice case, although your link doesnt show it, there is a zillion custom options like sheep or cow leather, many colors, leather texture, and many micro fiber options. Mine took almost 2 months to get it, but that was because of my countries postal strike. I was begining to think I wasnt going to get mine and thought maybe I should have ordered one of the AE ones. I could easily have lived with that case too.

I still like mine a bit better. I like the double row stitching on the front and the top load with magnetic closure. I also kinda like the diamond mesh on the back better too. I wondered about asking him to make the side where the buttons are, to make it not so open. Just close the open side up a bit further and maybe just have a cutout for the buttons. That gap at the top could maybe closed up a bit?? I was looking and with the design on mine you cant make the inner cutout on the front smaller. With the double stitch thing on the front its going to take up so much room. I bet how its made you might not be able to shorten up the gap that much as there probably has to be so much space between the stitch rows...just a guess.

That gap could maybe be like 2mm smaller, but honestly its not a big deal. If I was a complainer obsessive compulsive kinda person, it might bother me. It doesnt bother me because the case looks and feels so nice. That gap at the top probably wouldnt be a big deal for 99/100 or 999/1000 people, but for the 1% or .1% the gap is going to make them squirm. I should point out my DX260 does not slide at all in the case. There is a foamy block on the closure flap above the card slot that keeps the DX260 from up and down sliding. The case fits snug on the sides

Anyways I think my case is excellent. I really really like it and I absolutely think it ads to the awesome DX260 experience.

While I am writting this novel...I lost track of how many hours I have on the DX260. It has to be over a couple hundred for sure, anyways the sound of the DX260 has only got better. I think the sound has stabilized. It sounds so smooth and I dont mean that in a lifeless way. I mean in a clean, non etchy, non glary, non tizzy grainy kind of way. I bought my first real headphones for it, the Aune AR5000. I lost track of how many hours I have on them too, but together they sound so nice. I think the AR5000 are an awesome match as they are so easy to drive. I think the DX260 and the AR5000 make for a really super pairing.

Same! Still can't believe how excellent sound quality they were able to achieve in DX 260 and I'm so glad it took transparent/reference path. I find it also to be in sublime synergy with my CIEMs:D.
Although I definitely don't believe in DAP burn-in process and if anything, in my opinion, it may be a brain adaptation and 'burn-in'. If you could now compare/AB a brand new unit with the one with miles on it it should really sound identical. The trick is in the brain processing. BTW, I also find it funny they include this burn-in cable, but to each his own, especially as it leads to the same auditory results:).

Hello there,

Lucky owner of this wonderful DAP, I'm looking for the best IEM (according to my taste) that fits with it. The DX260 being quite neutral and being oversensitive to trebles, I'm looking for an IEM on the warmish/bassy side. I'm using currently the Dunu Titan S that are much too bright (and not enough bassy).

Which IEM would you recommand for an IEM in the range of 100$/100€ that could fit with my taste? I'm wondering if the AFUL explorer or AFUL Magic one could be the good ones. Have somebody experience with these 2 IEMs?

Thank you very much and have a good day.
