About the comparison between iBasso DX260 and DX320, i was doing some testing yesterday and at some point i had to pull out my DX320.
I listened about 10 minutes, using Campfire Audio Andromeda Emerald Sea connected to 4.4 jack and then switched to Campfire Audio ARA with 3.5 jack.
All i can say for now, is that i like abit more the sound from DX320 (stock amp), abit calming for me.
When pausing the song, with this IEMs, on DX260 noise floor is present and little hissing, but on DX320 is almost 0 .
From my memories i can also say, that when i listened to AMP14 installed in DX320, it was love at first sight.

A few words about the possible difference in the sound of the 200 and 300 series of Ibasso DAPs
Once upon a time, I noticed such a feature when comparing the sound of different DAPs. DAPs with a 3.7V battery ALWAYS lost in sound to DAPs with a 7.2/7.4V battery, regardless of the DAC implementation. I noticed this for the first time when I was listening to the ASTEL AK100 and compared it to cheaper DAPs with a 7.4V battery. Then І began to compare other DAPs, including the Ibasso d90, and came to the same conclusion.
Can anyone tell me exactly which batteries are installed on the dx240/dx260 and dx300/dx320 (the ones that power the amplifier). It will give me insight into the difference even without a direct comparison. Of course I could be wrong, but...

I'm currently still using the dx220 with amp8ex but after all these years I've found the battery to be draining much faster. Has anyone heard both these DAPs and would be able to do a comparison?
For that I'm using the "Hiby Musique" player app. One app is in Controller mode on the Android phone and the other one in Server mode on the DAP.Was wondering if there was a way to control the player using an Android phone via bluetooth?
You should may be look also at the BubbleUPnP app. I let someone else confirm this app works because I don't use it on this way

Hello, I am also on the verge of pulling the plug on the DX260. I have a few questions i hope you could help me oout. Basically I now have Sony WM1A MK2, Questyle QP2R, and Questyle CMA18P as my main sources as of now. Do you think adding DX260 to the lineup will bring some change for me? basically a different signature is what I am looking for in terms of source.About the comparison between iBasso DX260 and DX320, i was doing some testing yesterday and at some point i had to pull out my DX320.

>Thieaudio Hype10
>Oriveti OH700VB
and a bunch more(cheaper models basically).

I received my DX260 2 days ago and didn't had that much time , but my first impressions are positive.
I allready had DX170 and DX320 from iBasso, so when they announced it, i didn't hesitated to order.
I have also the DX170 and I'm thinking of falling for the DX260 . Do you hear a big difference between them?I never had any Sony or Questyle products so i can not tell the difference.

Yes, it is a difference, but still cant tell if its that big. I am doing the burn in slowly. I start on low gain with iems first, then headphones Now i listen to it using Meze 109Pro, low gain and 30% volume. Then i will raise gain and volume gradually, so it will take a week probably.I have also the DX170 and I'm thinking of falling for the DX260 . Do you hear a big difference between them?
The big difference comes from the player's operating speed, compared to DX170.

I love Questyle products and can tell you that the DX240 is clearly better than a QP2R but then I also preferred the QP1R. Judging from reports, I think you'd love the DX260.Hello, I am also on the verge of pulling the plug on the DX260. I have a few questions i hope you could help me oout. I haven't heard a CMA18P but I doubt any portable outboard device would be as good.

To me, there is a big difference between the DX170, which I enjoy, and the DX260. The DX260 just sounds different and has a wonderful musical quality to it. To me, it is unlike any other dap I have heard and in a good way.

I love the size of the dx260. It doesn’t yet have the presence and air of the ak sp3000, but that’s asking a lot of this much less expensive product. And it’s still burning in. Is there an AK portable that could match the SQ of the DX260 or better?

Sp1k is even better than the dx320 imo. Its quite small but heavy, i use it on the go tho. You can get it for 800-900 bucks used.I love the size of the dx260. We, obviously have different ears. The 1K is a little rougher sounding in the upper octaves, and the DX320 can throw a much nicer sound stage IMO.Sp1k is even better than the dx320 imo. Its quite small but heavy, i use it on the go tho. You can get it for 800-900 bucks used.
