There must be a lot of margin in there if an authorized dealer is selling to an unauthorized dealer who is *himself* selling at below (or way below) regular authorized dealers’ prices.
iBasso, unlike other chi-fi brands have authorized resellers across the globe. Then why buy from shady sites like Hifigo ? If you read some of the posts on this forum on how difficult it is to return/replace items purchased from there, you wouldn’t buy either.
I was only pointing out several things. First, looks like lots of profit margins in there. Second, how about *more* than a one year warranty from Ibasso when buying from an *authorized* dealer.

HIFIGo basically stocks everything but isn’t an authorised dealer for anything, that’s why prices, same exactly as buying from Ali.
On another note, having owned DX240 and currently owning Elite, id say Elite is better from memory so take with a pinch of salt, but obviously for tuning sakes size isn’t the biggest issue anymore?
Id exepect 260 to be brilliant but id wait for some feedback

May not be better sounding on full size headphones. The DX240 with Amp8 is a lot more powerful, which should allow it to drive harder to drive headphones better.

Because most people would be totally justified in thinking that Hifigo are an authorised dealer.
So why should the customer then be penalised by warranty restrictions when they have purchased an iBasso product in good faith?
If Hifigo is a "Shady Site" as you state then why is iBasso allowing their authorised dealers to supply them potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars of stock every year?
Based on your logic, it would then be easy for the customer to form an opinion that a "Shady Site" is dealing directly or indirectly with a Shady Manufacturer.
Can you see where reputable damage starts to manifest itself if iBasso chooses to do nothing to prevent these activities continuing?

It would be very easy for iBasso to purchase one of their products from Hifigo using a mystery shopper and then trace the serial number back to the supplying authorised dealer
