You can use Airplay with the DX240 but you have to download the app.
I don't use airplay so I am guessing that you would download an app for Android for Airplay. I would look for Airplay for Android. Most likely at the Google Play Store.Which app?
Which app?
AirReceiverLite

I had a similar experience comparison Mango OS versus Mango and UAPP on Android. The Mango OS seemed thinner and less powerful compared to the Android players. I would stick with the Mango player if you don't have access or you don't want to pay for UAPP.hey folks,
been playing with the 240 for a bit now. anybody here uses poweramp in place of the mango player app? The quality of music is noticeably worse, thinner and feels like more compressed. I have no golden ears believe me, so if i can pick this up it gotta be real.
Anybody had a similar experience with poweramp?
I would have thought the changing app on such a modern DAP would just be down to UI preferences, certainly not sound quality.
It's no secret that AMP1MK3 can be fairly aggressive and upfront. Probably best not paired with earphones that have a very forward midrange.Still on amp 1 mk 3, not sure if I can justify the cost for amp8 .. I find amp 1 too sharp and analytical sometime .. too much clarify ..
Nice! Yours looks like it was made a little better fitting, and also with better folds on the bottom. Mine also seems to have a little extra gap on the top lolIt's no secret that AMP1MK3 can be fairly aggressive and upfront. Probably best not paired with earphones that have a very forward midrange.
In other news my DX240 custom leather case from Easecase on ebay arrived and I couldn't be happier with it, the DAP feels a lot more premium now.
It's actually the opposite. Mango Player is thinner vs running full Mango OS. Mango OS is pure sound without any android gimmicks. everything is more focused from bass, mids , treble. Android sounds wider but the effect is everything thins out a little when spread-out. UAPP is an excellent middle ground between the two.I had a similar experience comparison Mango OS versus Mango and UAPP on Android.
