I see you have a&k futura how do you compare it with dx200ti? Any particular preferences.

Is anyone on Mac here that has the DX200 upsampling to DSD512. Whether I try Roon, Audirvana, or HQ Player, it will only let me go up to DSD256. I'm wondering if this is just a limit of Mac Core Auto, though I though that these programs were able to bypass any limitations.

If you got it to work please share.

It's probably because you output DSD as DoP, not Native, which is AFAIK Mac OS limitation.

That was my other expenditure because I didn’t know I was buying a Ti!

Better interface and very slick, AK connect works well with Futura connected to my 2 channel hifi.

But quite different sound, detailed, not so spacious, and overall I would say Ti better SQ.

Ouch that futura sq is less then dx200ti. I thought all a&k where hand build by god him self for that price hehe

Only one persons (my) opinion! Some albums sound better on Futura, but many more sound better on Ti1. Then again you guys with multiple amps would probably find same thing when switching.

Playing Rush ‘Vapour Trails’ album as I write this. Played it on SE100 with three different iems and phones yesterday and it sounded thin and weedy. Mind you later day Rush albums not best recordings. Playing on Ti1 with Ether Closed headphones now and it’s sounding fuller and quite brilliant.

But yesterday paired my SE100 with Shure 846s and Norah Jones in hi-res sounded excellent. Synergy between gear very important.

DX200 has great advantage of an amp to everyone’s taste.

Oh no... please don't release any product so soon. I'm broke after the Titanium. Unless you're referring to the release of the new Mango OS. Can't wait for that!!!
