Here's my findings. tl;dr... I love this DAP!

Oh my! I love this review, very evocative.
I've been listening to the DX200 with AMP3, CB12 cable and IT01 all afternoon, and I've just had to pick it up and start listening again after reading this review

Hi. My DX200 manages 4 hours 30 minutes of continuos play (mixed formats) with Amp3. It seems a little bit short. Any thoughts?

I just got my AMP 4 from Paul and just plugged my IT01's into the CA02 4.4mm adapter...

HOLY crap!!

Grr.. I was quite happy with the AMP3.
I thought @Paul - iBasso had really scored a winner with this one, that wouldn't be improved upon.

Then I received and loved the AMP5 with the IT01, but due to pretty much all my IEMs/cables being balanced, I've now switched back to the AMP3 (and stuck a CB12 balanced cable on the IT01).

But I found I'm missing something of the warm, rich and organic flavour of the AMP5.

Could the AMP4 be the missing link I'm looking for?
I wasn't that interested when I first saw it, because I figured I didn't use that kind of connector and hence had no need for it.

But.. after reading so many very positive reviews of it (and the fact that it brings yet another new dimension to the DX200 experience)..
AND the fact that iBasso have released an excellent adaptor (CA02)..

Now.. I want them both too. Very badly.
Does this game never end?! >.<
I have to laugh at myself (but I'm crying on the inside lol)

Hmmm debating upgrading from my N5ii to this as my reach of the SP1000 is still far away.

I have been able to compare them both. The SP1000 is not better, different but IMO, not better. I use primarily AMP5 and AMP4. When people compare they need to mention what amps they are using on the DX200. AMP3 is no slouch so there are 3 amps I like with the DX200 that take it to the top.

Understandable and appreciate the input. I’ll be honest I haven’t done enough research to know which AMPs have what outputs but I’d need a 2.5mm to use with my Leonidas + Tia Fourte combo. I believe that’s AMP 3? May have to hunt B/S/T for a used DX200 and see how much more I like it over the N5ii. I’ll need to side load Apple Music too.

Placed an order yesterday for a DX200, AMP3, and AMP5 from ibasso.com. PayPal was sent, then on "return to merchant" got a 404 page. Sent e-mails to them using PayPal e-mail address and contact form on web site. Have still not heard anything back.

Anyone know what might be up? They didn't just shut down or anything did they?

It is the Chinese New Year. They like many in China are closed for around 2 weeks. I think Paul may need to let people know.

The impressions of this device perfectly matches with mine. AMP4 is really one good addition to dx200's accessory list. And thanks for pointing about the sudden stopping of the song and the workaround for it. I experienced the same stoppage.

I had upgraded from AK120ii to dx200. What ibasso has done for $860 (retail price) is simply wonderful.

dx200 + AMP4 + Custom Art Harmony 8.2 = audio bliss for me.

Guys... I'm experiencing something weird with my dx200 and not sure if any of you have encountered this.

Everytime I switch amp, the device will not switch on indicating a drained in battery. It will not boot up until there's sufficient battery power being charged.

Any idea how to solve this problem?
