I stand corrected. Apologies all round.

Hi Paul,

Got the DX200 a few days ago.  Great sound! Great job, Thanks!

I got a problem however, when playing DSD files, it seems to swap the left & right channels.  I had similar problem with another Sabre product (or it could possibly be the XMOS as well), which they brought out a firmware fix to solve it.  Can you see if that is happening with another units?  If not, I may need to bring my one back for a replacement.

Cheers

This is looking good. Appears to be the highest among DAPs. Even Powerful than Hugo. At least for high-impedance phone. If you don't mind could you measure the noise and distortion at 6Vrm?

I know it will not be as low as 3 Vrms but it will be interesting. If DX200 can drive sensitive iems without hearing any hint of hiss or the noise floor. They this is a winner. I just hope the software is stable enough (This is what worries me the most. Please don't pull an X7 on me

).

EDIT: sorry, still sleepy didn't see the THD+N already included from the screenshot. It looks even better. At 6vrms, pretty impressive. Better than Hugo at least on paper.

Had tried K10Ua, no hiss or significant noise floor appear unless compressed or poor record music file

I am referring to hiss of noise when music is not playing. If DX200 is silent then it's golden. X7's balance card has a slightly noticeable hiss with sensitive iems.

Cant hear any noise with listening level using K10 Balanced. Not even with tidal with wifi On. Will try to listen again with a more quiet environment later.

We have a download to your computer and a flash for on onboard chip that fixes this. Please email service@ibasso.com and in the subject line state DX200 L&R channels switched and then in the text ask for the download.

Nice, btw not sure if anyone already mentioned. Is gapless playback working properly? I remember it never worked properly on DX90 long ago.

Yes gapless is working but there is a screen switch so you can turn it off if you want.

Is the thump gone on this player when you turn it on? The dx80, 90,50 was plaque from this.

We have eliminated any thump but with a special request we can add it back.
