Those who got their amp8, how long is your battery life with DX200+AMP8 and how hot does it get? Battery seems to drop too short and the device gets so very hot that I can't stand to hold it in my hands for longer than 5 secs.

Anything is wrong with your unit ? My dx200 + amp8 dropped about 12% per hour at volume 36 and low gain, not really too hot like what you said.

It does sound like a bad unit. I'm able to get all day with my AMP8.

No, it was announced from yesterday, and I shared a couple posts, I even remind the people too! With the time approximately I posted . Instead of waiting in line physically, you just keep refreshing the page around that time. So, it is not really randomness, but rather a very short windows to grab.

Anyways, the second chance is to check and see which retailer has it in stock

It has been very confusing on the Cu-Au limited edition, but I only know that it went out to a very few selected people and never again. It wasn’t announced and or publicly released anyways. The Dx200Ti is however publicly released. It has only 66 counts, and who knows when it (another limited edition) comes out again.

I love Titanium, and I love the upgrades that went into it. Because it is limited and I love hearing what I hear, I could not be left out ! LOL.

Fun fact! Did you know Dx200+Amp8 has 125Db Dynamic Range which surpass A&K Sp1000 (120Db), and or SE100 (122Db) ? It is only behind Looto Paw Gold Touch of 127Db. But please bear in mind that Amp module is removable and it can be upgraded.

Amp1 was 122Db Dynamic range
Amp 3-4-4S was 124Db Dynamic Range
Amp7 and Amp8 are currently 125Db Dynamic range

Amp8 has 1.2W of power and 2700mAH rating, with 2.5VrmS at 300 Ohms Load and still <0.4 ohms output impedance

Another Fun Fact. Dx200 with Amp8 has THD of 0.0002% which is more than 3X lower than SE100 which is 0.0006% and it is also much lower than Sp1000 which is 0.0004%
