Can not get the amp 4 and amp5 without any review out yet.

Just wait, wait, wait.

In the meantime, still enjoying my amp1, amp2, and amp3.

Well, if you ARE enjoying Amp1/2/3, then no need for waiting on reviews of 4 or 5. iBasso isn't just releasing frivolous stuff for the sake of it.

Question to iBasso and production of AMPx especially AMP3, do you have any delyas in shipments?
I ordered the IT01 yesterday from the Ibasso site and received shipping details today. Due to be delivered here in the UK on Wednesday. Any delays will be down to the shipping company, which I guess is out of Ibasso’s hands. Good luck

I should have AMP3/4/5 write up early next week.

With the Campfire Audio Vegas and 2.5mm balanced cables and 3.5mm SE cables, which amps should I consider? 102 dB SPL/mW Sensitivity, 17.5 Ohms @ 1kHz Impedance. Thanks.

If you value the bass impact and want to keep VEGA sound sig L-shaped - go for AMP3; if you want a more neutral sound with less overwhelming bass - go for AMP4 and also get iBasso's 4.4mm adapter to go from 2.5mm (CA02 model).

This is my personal preference:

Hey dx 200 users! This head fier is thiking of NOT giving AK my money and going the cool reasonable route here. But! The mango app looks pretty bad in videos. Are there themes to make it more minimal? (No weird jazz-dudes in the background for album, settings etc; no blue-ish textures under the play, back and forward arrows etc)

You can use almost any app with the Android mode and use which has the best theme for you.

I think that the Mango also has some settings, but I'm not sure what you're referring to exactly right now :smile_phones:

I think that in the background for an album , it uses the actual album background, while for the blueish textures under play, I'm not sure what to answer. They didn't really bother me in real world usage (?)

I was wondering about amp4/amp3 differences for the IE800S but now you got me interested in it for the Vega, it could take them further I'll probably get amp4 soon :) Thanks for the adapter reference!

Looking forward to the review :D

I thought AMP3 and 4 are almost identical mechanically except the connector and so anticipated the same sound.
Looking forward to read the comparative review to learn how they sound differently and where the difference comes from.

I thought exactly the same thing reading the spec sheet, and AMP4 is based on AMP3 design. Good to know it's a variant not a clone with a 4.4mm, not that it would have been bad to begin with...

Hi guys I am ordering a new cable for my Headphones. Am I correct in assuming that I use the following termination?
I just have the base model DX200 and dont really have any intentions to get any other amps.

2.5mm TRRS Astell & Kern balanced plug
