Downloaded and copied the latest firmware to the sd card to do local update. However, it failed verification asking me
to check the package. I downloaded the file again but still failed verification. Has anyone been able to install the new
firmware?
Unzip it first.

Dear @Paul - iBasso
Just curious - why invest resources to manage two player verions instead of polishing one?

Also please consider:
Provide alternative link for firmware files (google drive for example)
Offer firmware and readme file as individual files. To avoid confusion and unnecessary unzipping.

Thank you!
:)

Different screen resolution so it need to separate.

I talk about Android versions.
One player is for 150/200, other for 220/160.

screen resultion is problem only with MangoOS.

I understand that it also has problem with Mango Player in android too.

Maybe @Lurker0 can answer?

Or maybe the mango Player app can be ported to 150/200 too?

@artpiggo
Please - new MangoPlayer can be available on DX150/200.
No screen resolution issue, no FW issue.

My question to Paul still remains.
Why invest precious dev resources to maintain two versions.
The DX150 and DX200 are not compatible with using the system from the DX220. There can be some work around but it is not smooth in our opinion and isn't used. For the rest, I leave it to the head of our software team.

And I like the mango mode, I always use it. the only minus is not to throw music through it using a computer. I like that it turns off when idle, while quickly turning on while maintaining the last playing music.

but I would like to display the status bar on the playback screen, as well as the number of tracks. It’s inconvenient to press the screen every time. I do not like the Android mode because there is no shutdown when idle like the mango mode and when it sleeps it discharges a bit.
