Amazing! the Dx200! If you are streaming a lot like YouTube and Netflix. Use it as external USB/DAC. The WASAPI in windows allows anything to be up into 192Khz, and it sound much much better than Bluetooth connections or even wireless streaming on the Dx200 by itself. I don’t know why, I am not too crazy in software and it driver....

Amp8 is almost a jack of all Amp. It is powerful, it is discrete, and it signatures can significantly be customized by DIY. I am writing an article for this

I can't wait to read your article on DIYing her up as well Vince!

Speaking of which, do you have Amp8 ? If you are interested, we can trade. I have incoming TK capacitors, I just need another Amp8 to work with :D. The AXV Tantalum can only allow 2-3 reflows, and that means I can not capacitors roll on them as much as the supply caps. Shoot me a PM if it is of your interests

So do you mean that TK Japanese capacitor replacements are better than what you had done for your amp8?

Thinking of selling my dx150 and buying a dx200. Is it a big upgrade?

It depends on personal preferences. I know some people who had both and sold DX200 then, and money was not an issue for them.

I do not know. TK is expensive, rare to come by. What I had done for my module now is the accumulated experiences from what I had done in the past, and what I deemed best. Then I have the opportunity to grab a few TK. The way I see it is that Amp8 can be tuned significantly, and so I can’t pass up this opportunity to do an all out Amp8Tk.
