I just saw this on a Taobao shop, claimed to be a limited edition as well. Guess, we already know what's coming up next

This is probably a 2nd hand unit from the 1st batch of 26-27 DX200cu gold plated limited edition. Not much official news regarding the upcoming ones yet.

Even the previous pictures (of amp9) are all engineering units displayed at trade shows.

Ask @Paul - iBasso to weigh in on it. But yes it’s probably one of the 26.

If you're talking about the 3.5mm pro version then it has been selling on Taobao for a while

Since I'm in Europe and not in China I'm only checking the European sources for the amps and here the 3.5mm pro amp 8 is not yet available.

Do we know more about the amp 9 than its name? Is it expected to be better than the amp 8? I'm asking since I'm still using the amp 1 and was planning on buying the amp 8 when my 4.4mm cables arrive. But if there is something better coming soon i might as well postpone the purchase

I have no idea about amp9, we just know that it will run on Nutube and probably 2 version, one with balance out 4.4mm and another one with SE 3.5mm. Personally, I think amp9 gonna give you a different sound experience (tube like) rather than better than amp8

If AMP9 comes with 4.4mm, that's good for me.But now I'll need a 4.4mm female to 2.5mm male adapter for that AMP1 mod now lol.

I want that amp1 mod too. Not know ibasso will sell internationally.

Hello guys, I'm looking for a good micro sd for my DX200, of course I need 512 GB, I found a LEXAR for about 100 euro/USD on Taobao, this is the speed: up to 100MB/s read, up to 70MB/s write.
Could I have any problem with DSD files? I don't use them so much, but sometimes I listen to them.

Otherwise there are, for about 200 euro/USD, SAMSUNG with 100MB/s read, up to 70MB/s write and KINGSTON with 100MB/s read, up to 80MB/s write.

What do you suggest? Did you find better prices?

I made some tests, and was unhappy with the performance of Samsung microSD files for large bandwidth files.

I can't say whether they will play DSD with absolute certainty, since I don't have many DSD files, but Samsung microSD cards below 256 GB cannot record FHD video from a video camera, thing which I tested.

Just find another software for converting PCM to DSD up to DSD2048, though DX200 can only handle DSD512.
http://pcmdsd.com/Software/PCM-DSD_Converter.html
But the DX200 with Neuton MP faces difficulty playing back the DSD512 converted.
The playback is laggy even with all the latences maximized.
It also showed '64bit 3MHz 49xxx kbps DPCM69' instead of '1bit .....DSD512' which playing DSD64 will show '1bit 2.8MHz 5644kbps DSD64'.
Then I played the DSD512 on Mango in both Pure and Android modes and there were a lot of very loud noises along with the music.

Probably you need to upgrade XMOS firmware to 1.20, if your DX200 was made before August 2017. You may PM me for details.

Hi guys I am looking for some guidance. I use my DX200 almost exclusively for Tidal. I stream and I download albums to listen to offline. I did the Lurker rom upgrade some time ago. All was working fine until a few weeks ago. Now Tidal is so slow and performing basic operations like searching for artists takes an age. When typing a letter in to search bar it takes about 2 seconds for it to register. Also started to have a few drop outs when streaming. This used to work great.
I have heard about Oreo, but cant work out if this will be of benefit to me. At present I have the google play app on the 200 and this is where I installed Tidal from. I also update tidal whenever instructed to do so.
I have never updated the IBasso firmware , unless it is done automatically. Can anyone help me with this?
