Loudness is obviously not a problem for these phones SE using Amp 1, so any improvements to be expected with Amp5 (SQ, bass tightness, Sound stage etc)?

IMO, the improvement of AMP5 over AMP1 is drastic. Everything just sounds better, more alive, more lush, more organic and the soundstage increased dramitcally. Basically it sounds like a tube amp. I should know, all my amps are tubes. If you ever think AMP1 is cold sounding and boring, I bet you will never think that of the AMP5. Highly recommended. YMMV thou, as I only use my Final Audio LAB01 with the DX200 as it acts as my constant in my chain

If there's one issue i found with dx200 hardware set, it is the supplied braided usb cable lol. i find in my set, the braided cable is very slow in transferring data, using any ROMs. I try using the cable with my phone, ended up with the same result.

Not sure if my supplied cable is defective, or it is the issue with the cable design

Hi All

Thoroughly enjoying my new DX200, even though the supplied USB C cable temporarily knocked out a pair of USB 3 ports on My Win10 'puter! Replacement on the way....

A quick question - would Amp5 represent an improvement using my my over ears, B&W P7's, HiFiman 400s and NAD Visio HP50? These are all around 30 ohm and are easily driven by AMP 1 SE. (I have a balanced cable for the 400s's and they sound fantastic balanced).

Loudness is obviously not a problem for these phones SE using Amp 1, so any improvements to be expected with Amp5 (SQ, bass tightness, Sound stage etc)?

wow..damn... i think i need to stop using the cable right away...
Thanks man..

Neutron is updated!

...And I found an interesting sentence.
Which is
"detect MQA track and expand it to the original frame rate"
Is it means Neutron now have got the MQA Decoder? Can DX200 decode and play MQA with Neutron?

change the gain/filters there then close Mango.
FYI sound settings can be changed in general Android settings as well. The changes take effect immediately, even when music is playing.

See my post 10619 - my supplier (braided) cable was certainly defective ........
The same here! For me the supplied braided cable was working for USB-DAC next to never. I've bought at local shop the cheapest USB-A -> USB-C cable and it works stable and transfers data pretty fast.

Paul, is this issue with USB C cables supplied with the DX200 one you recognise? My vendor is replacing mine but I believe it will be another braided one. My “knocked out” ports are functioning again but not normally.....
