Have you had a chance to compare the two yet?Keeping both sets (MK2 & Ultra) for myself and enjoying them!

Yes. For me, I prefer the MK2 over the Ultra, it impressed me already on first listen out of the gate compared to when I first got the Ultra. Already a really fine balance between analytical and musical. It is actually the Ultra with punchier bass and a bit more shimmery treble with just a tad more sparkle (yet neither sibilant nor grainy). Very articulate and detailed. A more engaging Ultra if you will, very close. Those looking for a punchier Ultra low-end without being boomy or turning on the switch, it's here.Have you had a chance to compare the two yet?
And project Red, and Rinkos! So much fun stuff. So many wonderful things on the horizon… Dunu SA6 mkII, Aful Performer 8, Blessing 3… my heart is glad and wallet is terrified!
Yes!! Oh my, what was my New Years resolution? I forget…And project Red, and Rinkos! So much fun stuff.
Can anyone comment on the nozzle and shell size of the mk2? The titan S and Kimas fit fine.
Hence forget mid-fi hell and jump to TOTLSo many wonderful things on the horizon… Dunu SA6 mkII, Aful Performer 8, Blessing 3… my heart is glad and wallet is terrified!
It uses the Hulk pro mini high-purity cable same as Ultra, but without 2.5mm jack in MKII due to a lack of interest from the users. It's 2-pin and yes, it features DUNU’s patented Q-Lock Plus interchangeable termination plug system. It comes with 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced plugs in the package. What’s the cable that comes with this one, and does it use the same q lock system as the DU-02s cable?
And is it 2-pin or mmcx?
Should still be ergonomic, just a little bigger. Also agree that the old wood design looked better, still the new one is also quite fancy.not a fan of the new look and color choices to be honest, but yeah that's just me.
No more random colored faceplates?
Also it does look bigger. I like the sa6 for it's small and comfy shells.
