Haha just as I was about to order the fd5 you pull me back in. Back then I used to love the crystal clear sound of the dunu titan 3 and always hoped for a follow up. Any news regarding your titan series as to tuning and rough pricing? Also would you say the next titan model could compete with the fd5? I am not too familiar with fiio but have heard some of your iems and they have all sounded great to me.
The follow-up TITAN model is going to be very similar to that of the current TITAN 6. As for tuning, it is currently undetermined, but as we mentioned, ECLIPSƎ will be an overarching driver platform, and frequency response curves for single driver models will be similar to that of the ZEN, albeit with some modifications suited to market preferences. Tuning has not been finalized, so it wouldn't be proper for us to compare an unreleased model of ours with another company's newly released model.

@DUNU-Topsound The fd5 is getting more great impressions but I am also really optimistic about the upcoming dunu titans aswell. Is this new titan going to be a big leap forwards for the price range or is this just the general next model improvements? I know it will be inferior to the zen but not sure by how much. We already have great iems like the nm2+ and tanchjim oxygen for the single DD's in this price segment and looking at reviews/comparisons it seems as though the last titan model you had wasn't as favoured compared to today's current crop of single DD's. I hope you smash it out of the park with the new titans but I am not sure how well your sub 300 models will keep up this time around.
Wallets around the globe are protesting in unison.
Happy holidays, everybody!

Please do me a favour and not allow the titans to sound that amazing. I have just purchased the fd5 and do not want to regret my decision for the whole of this year. If it does eventually get better reviews I'm gonna hunt you down brother lol. Just tell your engineer that the masses love extra boosted upper mids and a touch of sibilance for no apparent reason and then price them competitively at around 800 USD. This should be your blue print for them.

With all I’ve been up to I set aside an entire evening for the SA6. Such a great IEM to come home to. It’s friendly and welcoming, it’s charms are conservative and reserved yet contain sprinkles of magic.
It’s one of those IEMs that offers that “I’m better than you remember” character. I’ve switched to a 4 core pure copper litz which may be actually doing some improvements over the great included cable? I’m not sure actually, and you would think I’d have that simple thing figured out by now? Those things the SA6 reminds you it does are actually fairly wholesome and straight forward. It simply reminds you it’s getting you a detailed and realistic playback free of any metallic tone. It’s getting you an accurate soundstage and in the end comes off basically real and honest. In this day of IEM replay choices there are those that only inspire in the timeframe of the honeymoon. Or worse.......IEMs that seem to start to show real basic lack of ability in an area or two.
So to have the SA6 do what it does long after the honeymoon phase, simply shows how much of a keeper it is. I’m still as excited about it now as I ever was.
