Dang! I just fell back in love with my 2000J's and the only thing lacking is the cable. I would love to have that done to mine, and if you find out where or who is doing the mod, please let me know.

How bout a bump for a killer pair of iems, that I just rediscovered! I did not really know what good sound was, when I bought the 2000J several years ago, but I do now and they are legit. The 2000J is still a highly capable iem even with today's newer offerings, and a set I will never get rid of.

A few local services told me that they might do it for less, but I don't want to risk it.
Any detachable cable recommendations ?

I did not use my 2000j since I've got SA6.
However, as I will be travelling to Singapore next week, I've decided to bring 2000j and pay for the detachable cable mod.

I was asking sgaudiohive for cable recommendation and they told me to get NEX - NCU24 (slightly warmer cable to balance out the whole sound) or allegro - ACU24 (will tame the highs and add more bass). Do you think one of those two would do, or is there something better for the similar price?
