Is it lacking depth, and the price is perfect :ok_hand:.

I won't say it is lacking depth, though it doesn't have 'great' depth either, so to speak.

One person's opinion Mo'.  I really like the mid-range. And I do think the overall changes are definitely an improvement to the old DN-2000. If you can wait a few more days, reviews should start appearing - and then you can see a range of opinions - including comparisons to other earphones.

I'll do that, but it is on the verge of being of the list .

Don't worry mochill, we'll get to the bottom of this soon. Together.

Like any new product it takes time to form the big picture, we're all but different paint colours towards it.

I just received mine on Friday, and have been using it throughout the weekend.

One thing for sure, a definite upgrade from the 2k, so those people who like the 2k, I can safely say that you guys will love the 2kJ.

Overall signature is similar to the 2k, however from what I remember of the 2k, the 2kJ has a better clarity in the midrange.

More impression soon - Dunu recommends 100-200 hour burn in, but I know @mochill will do at least 1,500 hours

Not a big believer in burn in, but out of the box, the treble was a bit harsh and grainy, and significantly improved after about 10 hours or so of usage

@ClieOS Have you tried them with the A10 Walkman at all?

Neutral to slightly dry. Position wise, it is more or less similar to the original 2K, but because it has a more neutral bass, the overall image is flatter (or should I say 'in the same plane') as oppose to 2K where it falls just a bit behind bass.

Hmmmm I actually prefer 2K bass level, just nice for me. But let's see. Still waiting for my 2KJ.
What eartips you used for 2KJ ?

Thanks!
Please let us know the eartips you use with 2KJ, and how they change the sound signature.

Yes, I did. Probably because of A10's slightly higher output impedance, the 2KJ sounds just a tiny bit less bright., which isn't a totally bad thing, as It makes 2Kj just a bit smoother. The overall result is pretty good, but by no mean the best 2KJ can be.

The stock single flange.
