i prefer robust fixed cables to mmcx. i find it more reliable.

I have a pair of Sleek Audio customs from around 8 years ago (?), never ever had a problem with the barrel connections they use.

A buddy at work has a pair of SE215's that had connection issues; after reading up on the problem yesterday I "fixed" them for him last night.

It's good to hear the connection issues are largely manufacturer dependent. Otherwise, I would have been a bit worried that DUNU might have messed a little too much with the ingredients in their sauce. ​Though I always go into new changes like this with a fair dose of objectivism and my eyes wide open, I have a feeling that DUNU, given their track record, will have all their ducks in a row. We will see soon enough, of course, if this pattern of consistency continues and so therein lies the conflicted sense of anticipation and trepidation.

  All these new hybrids look awesome! Just when I thought hybrids couldn't get any better than the DN-2000/J. I'm gonna have to give them all a serious listen when they become available.
 
BTW, why are the high-end models named 'DK'?

With all this kerfuffle going on with the new Dunus coming out, looks like it's driving the prices down for the other units.

That's exactly opposite of my preference haha. I need to have my IEM worn over ears and I just can't do it with CKR. Is it possible to use Titan 1 over ear?
