Not all are strictly ambient but in general have some sort of dreamy, spaced out vibe to them which is what I'm looking for really.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Would really appreciate some suggestions here! It is one of those genres which I keep coming back to even though I never really stay with it for too long when I do (if that makes any sense). My trouble with it is that either the music is rediculously abstract and hard to get into or just pure musical bliss that captures me instantly. In general what I have found is that I prefer the more dreamy, sublime spacey type stuff, the sort of music that seems to leave you day dreaming.

One slightly odd example would be the track "Live Forever" from the ambient cd of Hotel by Moby. This music is so simple but almost divine in nature, really makes my pulse drop a little every time I listen to it.

From what I've already listened to, here are some of the albums which I've really enjoyed and would categorise as having the dreamy ambient property I seek:

Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works II
Biosphere - Substrata 2
Brain Eno - Apollo: Atmospheres & Soundtracks
Sigur Rós - ( )
William Orbit - Strange Cargo To Hinterland
Ohm-g - Moments
Craig Armstrong - The Space Between Us
BT - This Binary Universe
Susumu Yokota - Sakura
Múm - Yesterday Was Dramatic - Today Is OK
Bent - Ariels

Not all are strictly ambient but in general have some sort of dreamy, spaced out vibe to them which is what I'm looking for really.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
