I've heard both and the M50s and in terms of sound, the M50s are the obvious winner. Unless you like it when people give you glances while you're on the bus.

Duck to be totally honest I have not listened to those, but I can say based on specifications the Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 are a great IEM for that price range. Unlike most other IEMs in that price range they have 3 drivers instead of one to give you a more complete sound. You should read up on them. Amazon sells them direct for about 150 bucks.
I will warn you they don't seem to fit comfortably in everyone's ears. They are great for me with the comply brand foam tips.
On the other hand, I personally purchased a pair of Sennheiser CX200s for use at the gym. They sound great to me, the fit is amazing, and they cost me 20 bucks. I get too worried I'll mess up my Triplefi's. So if you like your M9s and they were cheap... stick with em. I have no idea how those sound, that is up to you. But if you want a seriously nice IEM for the money try those Triplefi 10sI'm

I'm hoping my M9s get here next week, I'm pretty anxious to try those out. I was thinking about getting the TF10s as my everyday, sit back and listen to music pair but I wasn't to confident in trying to work out with them. I saw the Diddybeats on sale for about $70 so i was wondering was it worth getting those also or if I should keep looking for a pair for the gym.

Is it worse than the Tours? I think I may go with the Klipsch S4 or the Ety HF5. The only thing I can't figure out right now is if there is a difference between the Klipsch Image S4 and the Klipsch Reference S4 Premium?

I have the beats solos, the m50's and have HAD the hd-25's...

My .02... Sadly i wear my beats everyday because of the mic and the pause button. I do however like my m50's a little better because of comfort and overall sound. The bass in the beats i have to sadly say is a bit better but thats me.. as far as the hd-25's go, i did not like them at all after a month a sold them. I didnt like how they sounded or felt.

For me the beats portability is great, i wish the m50's had a remote/mic (and a shorter cord), id use them everyday then. In an ideal world the M50's would be wireless and have a built in mic.. :frowning2:

I've used both and hands down, the M50 is the best.

The post is for the benefit of others. Not the guy posting why they dont like the m50. You can still get yours modded at the same place for 30 bucks. So "i don't know about you" but im the "kind of guy" who knows what he is talking about before he criticizes.

the studios dont look that bad. studios have better bass, worse mids, and slightly better treble. Big price difference though $300 vs $170 but the studios still look sexy
