Got it! coz I've a pcdp that had not been use for many years, so i was wondering if it need to re-burn in. thanks for the replies!

No, its vintage, but hasn't been used for a few years... it has to re-burn in, right? :rock:

Well to be honest, if things have sitting around for too long they need some "reseating" of sorts. My ancient PRO4/AA had that, but I wouldn't call it burn-in or anything. But then again that's a dynamic driver, not a source.

Burn in is moot. You will use it one way or another. If sound changes over time then you have your answer. Just enjoy it and hope for the best.

Unless the soldering is shot (or somesuch, I'm no techie), it'll only be your ears that need to burn in...so long as internally the player is OK, play & enjoy!
