Does anyone own both the Senn HD600 and HD650?

Ah, I didn't know they sold everything together like that. How much does that roughly cost though? I got my HD 650 for $299 new.

To go from HD600 to HD650 its about $125... Pair of driver plates for $100, and you can easily snag a used HD650 cable here for ~$15-25... there's lots of them floating around the HF community.  Cable upgrading over the last decade++  is one of the most common things to do with these cans.

The perforated metal mesh cups are different part numbers, but they are acoustically identical.  If you wanted to go all out and replace those, I think they are an additional ~$75... but don't quote me that.  But there's no real reason to do that.

Okay, so quite a bit cheaper then. I have upgraded the cable on my HD 600 and HD 650 I haven't even used the HD 650 stock cable personally.

Digging up old thread but i have 580s now with 650 drivers, 650 cable, 600 grills are on the way.

I was curious about the headband....would the 650 headband vs 580 headband. Would the 650 headband make an acoustical difference?
