Do you plug your equipment directly into the wall, or..?

Let's try this again.

Does this answer your question

Here you go: The room has 4x15" subs - flat 60hz - down to 17hz. Measured 115db@20hz in listening seats.
The ESL's have 4x12" subs
the centers have 4x10" woofers
the surrouns have 8x8" woofers

I measure my amplification in pounds : 720 lbs produces 10,500 watts
Front : - just amplification and crossovers in the dedicated amplification room.

It's used to power this :
The room is 24x28. Encased in 8" thick non-parallel cement walls, 2'thick ceilings. 150amp sub panel, 12 dedicated 20 amp outlets, $5k worth of wiring and connectors. Dedicated 2 ton AC unit, 100lb sound resistant doors

The ESL's & their dedicated subs measure +-2db 25hz - up to 20khz (Upper limits of test equipment, 24 bands per octave)

Home: Shunyata Hydra Eight with everything plugged in (including amps). A single family home but the ultracrappy power in this neighborhood has already taken out two preamps in the past three years.

Work: ExactPower EP15A with everything plugged in.

I voted for directly into the wall by mistake since I thought the poll meant power conditioners only. I use a surge protected power strip but I can't imagine investing in anything fancy (maybe we can quote this and laugh one day). A good PSU should compensate for power fluctuations.

Digital straight into the wall
Power amps straight into the wall
Pre-amp; Phono Pre-amp; through an Isoclean 50A III
TT through the Isoclean then through a ClearAudio Power Re-generator

Sources into a balanced power conditioner + hammond chokes + RC networks.

Pre-amp and amp straight into the wall.

Brainsalad, that's pretty impressive. One of the nicer set ups I've seen.

Any home older than 10 yrs old is going to have electrical line degradation. My house 45 years old and there is a lot of static in the lines. I always use Panamax line conditioners on my audio/video equipment. They have saved me from a power spike once (a one time event in our neighborhood) and from a power surge (lightning strike) once. Plus it has removed the static. Wouldn't think of going without.

I've tried both and for stability of current, especially with tubes, I use a Richard Gray's RGPC 600.
