Please only vote/comment if you have recent, first-hand experience with the specific headphone(s). Also, If you do find them "veiled", I would appreciate it if you could let me know by how much and give me an example of a pair of headphones that are not "veiled" to your ears?

Personally, I don't find my HD580s veiled..and I didn't feel that the 580's treble varied much from the 650s, so I did not find them "veiled" either.

Please, please keep the thread/poll on topic and respect the opinions of your fellow head'fiers there is no right or wrong answer to this question.

Thank you :)

*edit* Just realized that the two options on the poll that include all three headphones were kind of pointless. If you select one of those, please select the other three answers that coincide with your choice.

I've owned all three and the HD600 twice.  The only time I got the impression the sound had any veil was when I did not own a proper amp.  I've also owned the HD800 and K1K, as a reference against my HD600.  Any of these Headphones are fantastic all-rounders which most people will enjoy.

No veil with hd 650s as long as you have a decent amp.
