I have a question. Do the mic and cable of sennheiser IE8-i work with smartphones (Android)?

It either works with Iphones/HTC or with nokia/samsung....cant be for both.

I have the ie8i.  Box clearly says it's for iphone.  Mic and volume control does not work for my samsung galaxy sii

MEElec has a handy list of phones that work with all single-button 'made for iPhone' headsets (volume +/- buttons won't work). There's also an adapter to make made-for-iPhone headsets work with the Nokia/Samsung/Sony pinout such as that of the Galaxy S.
