Never mind again - I am an idiot apparently. After an hour of hurting the hell out of my ear poking them with these iem's found the sweep spot. No, they will not be getting returned, becuase the sound damned good!

It fits my ears just right, though I have average sized ear canal and using a pair of mod'ed Shure black foam.

Depends on the tips I use. Sony Hybrids seem to seal better than stock tips for me. Either way though the seal never seems as tight as other IEM. However, mine is tight enough that I do not need to adjust it every time I move.

man, tf10 (to me) sound pretty damn good for 99-140.  i had to use the foam + use the memory wire to keep the seal in but when it was in, it was in.  if i didnt upgrade to the 16s id probably reshell the tf10 because i didnt like how they stuck out so much.

I am a total idiot apparently. After an hour+ of fiddiling I found the sweet spot for my ears. Yes they sound very good. A touch bassy in some recordings, but I can live with that.
