Hi there,
 
I am new to IEM and loving it. I use it at home with 2010 MacbookPro via Tascam X9 mixer and quite happy with the sound (or should I use an amp??)  and how much improvement will I get if I add an amp to my iphone? and which amp is recommended?
 
I listen to any kind of music as long as it sounds good and most of my music are in MP3 @320
 
Any advise would be much appreciated.

Without a doubt a nice portable external amplifier will make a positive impact sound wise. But if the additional weight, size, and the money spent are worth it is not that clear, and only you can tell.
