Hmmm. I thought the font I used had Kanji already - at least some of the Boris tracks I have show properly.
By all means feel free to tweak any of my themes, just remember to post them back here for all to enjoy.

Which leads me to my recent theme updated to 3.0.

You can see a mock up in the previous post. I attempted to switch the order of the list (making Browse/Database the first selection), but it seems the scroll order is hard coded. Made some other tweaks here and there - changed the music op. from a round gfx to list, some adjusts to make it easier to see outdoors (still not perfect, but at least now you can see your selection).
Enjoy..

This is magic!

with the v3.0 F/W and this theme I feel the X3 is fully usable :)
I never did like the side by box menu's...

Thanks Mr Trev.

Thank you Mr Trev!

I mentioned about fonts of Kanji Character.
That's why there are bit difference between Japanese Kanji and Chinese Kanji.
So I, Japanese find bit differences when I use X3.

I uploaded customized theme based on your 3.0ver theme for Japanese users.

Thank you so much, Mr Trev!

when i try to update my firmware with mr trevs x3.fw it says theres no update file and reboots?

The name of the file must be x3.fw (not zip etc) and must be in the root of the CARD.

Want to comment on what you changed? rather then us random flashing ;)

Oh, alright. Even though that takes all the fun and surprise away

I modded the Fiio logo splash screen, simplified the startup and shutdown sequences, put the original battery and charging indicators back in the top strip, modded the original flat slider on/off and gain switches, and included solid black-ish PNGs to display when you don't have album art and when using as a DAC.

Next, I'd like to see if I can mod the semi-circular indicators for volume and such to be linear. I might also mod the USB icons to be the nice blue color Mr Trev used for the rest of the theme. For extra credit, I'd like to see if I can provide a bit more spacing between list items in the Quick Menu (Mr Trev: Do you know if that's possible OR us it simply limited by PNG dimensions?)

Once that's all done, I think I'll make a charcoal gray and orange theme similar to what I did with the older text-based X3 firmware, as that's my color preference.

Very good ideas. Thanks for your effort. I will use it once it is done :)
