hey,

ive seen alot of DIY cable threads lately and was just wondering were you would buy all your parts, What kind of parts to buy and how exactly you put them together??? If you guys have a preffered website where you buy your parts that would be helpful.
Thanks

Maybe some Techflex to make the cable a bit sexier, some heatshrink to add some strain relief and insulation at the solder joints, a soldering iron, solder, and you're good to go. As far as what kind of cable to buy well, you will need to do some research here as there are many different types. Personally I like to use stuff from Homegrown Audio.

Errr.... cable

Look at the sticky, 4th from the top post here on DIY cable gallery... this should give you some idea of what people are using for cable and connectors.

Look at the very top of this forum for the "The DIY Big List & Rules Section". In here is a sticky (permanent thread) listing all kinds of suppliers.

But yeah, Markertek and PartsExpress are two of 'em. Percy Audio, PartsConnexion, Welborne Labs, Pacific Radio... and more.
