What's the sifference between the old model Grado 325 and the newer 325i?

Well the main difference is that the highs in the old 325 pierces your eardrum in half. The highs are resolved in the 325i.

Geeeez... you got 170+ posts here on Head-fi and how could you be asking such a question
. The 325i has reduced ear shattering sharpness and so is very much more listenable than the 325. Also, it looks a whole lot more sexy.

Do you mean the 325 or the 325 (with hp1000 drivers)?
