So I just got my Diana V2 and she is great It's making me debate on whether to keep the HD800s though I think they complement each other, one being more intimate and the other more open. I am using the Mojo 2 primarily and she sings beautifully, the portable setup is nice for me to have since I can take it to work/school/trips. Coming from IEMs(u12t, IE600) mostly, I am not sure how scaling for the Diana V2 works. So volume on the mojo2 is plenty, She sounds amazing, I am trying to see what is the next step, within reason. I've been thinking about either getting an amp like the A90D and using the mojo2 as a DAC, would that make her "scale" better? the a90D is useful for my IEMs and sort of transportable for trips as well. I do plan on getting a wa7 next year. So its not one or the other type of situation, Bottom line, would a dedicated amp make her improve sq/scale better?
I have a Diana Phi and I exchanged my Utopia (OG) with a Final D8000 after a few months.
For me Utopia and Diana shares similarity in terms of detail, and Utopia is just a bit too bright for my ears. I kept the HD800 as it still still one of the most comfortable headphone, love the soundstage and love its pairing with my Bakoon current drive Amp.
With Diana and planar headphone, current driven headphone amps are better, would suggest you to look into Monolith Liquid Gold X (LuX), Bakoon or Questyle.

I will look into those and see if one of those works for me cause I really want to use my mojo2 as a DAC, it's just too good, especially with the "lossless" DSP. Thanks for the suggestions.
On the utopias, I actually auditioned the Utopia and LCD-5 against the Diana and 800s, I was honestly ready to return(800s) and get the LCD-5 but to my surprise, the Diana(IMHO) beats them with the exception of the bass of the 2023 Utopia, its a bit more punchy than the Diana probably because of the dynamic driver. Additionally, none of the flagships sound as open as the hd800s which I think gives it a unique flavor. So I am pretty happy, think I have the best of both worlds with the Diana (planar) and hd800s(dynamic). I am sad to see the Diana V2 being retired from the Abyss website though...
Wouldn’t say they’re excessive. Tried the Ultrasuede ported pads on WA33 and Lina amps, tons of fun! The cool thing about MR is the bass, it’s potent and clean, no bloat.
We engineer, machine, and build our headphones from scratch in New York, USA.

Probably the best thing about this new case is there's no knots to come loose excited to hear more MR reviews and news on the (currently prototype) closed. From early impressions I might need to move my V2 on for an MR but we'll see.
