It is.Anyone know if the RME ADI-2 DAC FS is a good pairing with the Diana v2? Using both it's DAC and amplifier.

ADI-2 DAC can make it go but Diana v2 dynamics really improve with more power in my opinion. I can technically get listenable quality with my phone but it sounds much better on an amp that can get it enough power.

Yeah, I sometime have it on my rme dacAnyone know if the RME ADI-2 DAC FS is a good pairing with the Diana v2? Using both it's DAC and amplifier.
I had the Diana Phi's and the RME ADI-2 can power them but the sound coming them is not that great. They sound thin and not very involving. The RME as a DAC feeding a more powerful amp would be a better option.Anyone know if the RME ADI-2 DAC FS is a good pairing with the Diana v2? Using both it's DAC and amplifier.

I run mine with an RME hooked up to a GSX Mini and the combination is amazing for both the V2 and Phi

I've owned an RME-ADI-2 - great DAC, but not sure if the headphone output would really do them justice. That said, you could try it and then add another amplifier as needed. The other advantage to the RME is the EQ, if that's your thing!
The EQ, and the all-in-one nature, along with the small footprint is why I use the RME.
I hope they make a newer version with more power and a xlr output. I want a balanced all in one dac/amp with pre-amp function.

Any recommended EQ profiles for the Diana v2 with DMS pads?
Alternatively, are there frequency response measurement for the Diana v2 out there?

Hi everyone, I have a 4.4 mm Diana stock cable, and want to trade it for a stock 3.5mm/6.3mm cable. Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks!

I have a XLR stock cable if you're interested. I wouldn't mind trading for a 4.4mm.
Thanks

Thanks so much for your reply! Sorry that I think I made a mistake when posting it.. I want to use the Diana with single-ended AMPs so I should actually want either the 3.5mm or the 6.3mm cable, but not with the XLR cables.I have a XLR stock cable if you're interested. I wouldn't mind trading for a 4.4mm.
Thanks
Alternatively, do you by any chance know whether it would damage the AMP if I use a XLR to 3.5/6.3 adaptor? If it doesn’t I would be very happy to do the trade with you!
