I’m a big fan of Devialet - the gold Phantoms I used to own were simply incredible for the money. Only bettered in my humble opinion and limited budget buy the Kii Three at 3 times the price.

Their amps are also incredibly well reviewed although I never tried one

They are also the kings of marketing hype!!!

Anyway they are specialist in making things small, and I asked a while ago since selling my speakers and going all IEM crazy, if they had any eyes on that area. They said no way....

Must have been top secret

Discuss...... :)

Tempted myself. Just got to see if I can get my 75t returned. Failed twice. By law I can get my money back if it happens a third time. Or maybe I'll just sell my replacement 75t without using them. Hmm... not a bad idea.

Wow! They look incredible......
boring.
I am not a huge fan of the sound of the phantoms but I love the design of the speakers, so I hoped for something way more fancy than this:

Looks like cheap chifi.... Disappointing.

Did you ever hear a pair of Phantoms on stands nicely placed?
Just interested as most people pass judgement quite quickly based on hearing a single speaker in a shop!
Clearly won’t be for everyone anyway but to me the Gold Phantoms were better than Meridian Dsp6000, Mordaunt Short Performance 6 with Roksan Caspian mono blocks and power amps.
Which considering their size is remarkable.

My point is - I’m hopeful they have worked some magic to make these sound incredible and they will shake up the IEM world!
They’ve got DSP in them to correct the response on the fly according to your ear canals - I mean .... come on!!

Or maybe it’s all marketing bull :)

I didn't see mention of touch controls. If they're controlled by a clickable button on the side it's a no go for me.

No, I have not, only at the exhibition room at the Highend in Munich some years ago. But I personally prefer studio monitors, like my Genelec 8351A which are designed to have an accurate music reproduction trying to limit the influence of the listing room. I would say devialet is quite the opposite, which does not mean that they do not sound good to some people.

With respect to the SQ of the new IEMs a cannot say anything and the DSP is probably a neat features (as in the nuraloop) so nothing to revolutionary here but I am pretty sure they will make a big fuzz out of it. The marketing maschine works pretty good at devialet.

Yes for sure you would need a big room to get anything like a flat response from them!!! I used Dspeaker antimode to reduce a couple of big bass humps in my room to great effect.

I have to say I am a sucker for good marketing - I fell in love with the looks first, the the idea of owning "The best speaker in the world ever" according to them . Then the sound came 3rd after buying!!

I did go for Kii Three afterwards which are probably more your cup of tea - as they are all about flat in room response!

Yes I was also tempeted to buy a phantom or more likely a reactor but never did.
A Kii Three I would buy anytime without testing! If I had the money for it. Great speakers!

I attempted to preorder them but there was no provision to input a US address. Hopefully, they will be stocked in the US authorized reseller stores eventually.

EDIT: Reason for the address failure was that I had not saved an address to my Devialet account profile. After doing so, I was able to successfully complete my preorder. Hope they live up to the marketing hype!
