I bet you will be blown away by the SG1 quality, surpassing all previous products by a wide margin.
聽說香港有好多人好喜歡德森瑞的產品,其實大陸也很多忠實粉絲

There are certainly dethonray fans in hong Kong like myself, but no idea on the number tbh.
However, dethonray always have a ton of fans in mainland, and I am not surprised.
This brand has good reputation from long time audiophile, which attracted me to this dethonray community in the first place.

Bro, you missed the latest sound demo in YouTube. In 2018, after I had DTR1, I became DETHONRAY FANS. Because 10 years ago, I used desktop AMP to drive HD650. With DTR1, I found that the timbre was better than I thought. This time they made this video to show the real strength of DTR1+. Soud demo is a good way to reduce the ambiguity of words. What you hear is what you get.

Being an audiophile means it's hard to stop trying, but there are always some classic gears will be kept in your hands. Most of the time, we try to find a better PK. In fact, many years later, we realized that classic products always have their own characteristics and cannot be replaced. Hahaha.

Thanks for sharing your insight, and I totally agree with you.
True classic products can compete with new wave of products and still able to withstand the test of time, like the hd600/650, ER4 series etc. Which are still fantastic to this very day.
But I tried to broaden my view as an audiophile, dethonray dtr1 have given me the opportunity to try out headphone, as I was only narrated to in ear and portable equipment prior to owning dtr1.
I took a leap of faith and it all worked out.

Titanium alloy brick Hiby RS8. lol

😅 The DTR1+ is like a small toy compared to RS8. The good news is it has a big sound. I'm still interested in buying the RS8 but it looks to be heavy, even more than the WM1ZM2. I'm pretty sure it should sound great.

Sometimes I like to try flagships. It's meaningless to compare the details of sound quality. I just want to know the sound performance of each flagship. The sound of RS8 is good, at least better than RS6. The sound of RS6 is soft, slow, which is more suitable for pop music. RS8 performs better for different genres, but the workmanship is not good enough. The screw design and metal texture on the back are not exquisite enough. At present, the flagship players I have used, Sony WM1ZM2 and PAW Gold Touch, are much better than other flagship players. If you can accept the weight of WM1ZM2, RS8 is no problem. it's six of one and half a dozen of the other. lol
