Hi Head-Fi,
I only use headphones for portable use but dislike the closed sound of iems, so I have decided I need a nice sounding portable headphone. I need them to isolate well and be comfortable since I will wear them on the bus. Sound wise I need them to have a punchy bass for hip hop and I want them to have a fun factor like the ultrasone hfi-780. I was actually considering the hfi-780 but I think it may be a bit to analytical and hard to drive from an ipod, thus I fell upon the denon d1100. What do you think of the d1100 and would you suggest it for my purposes? If you have any other suggestions, they are appreciated.
