Hi guys, its been a while since I've posted on here ever since I got my DT 770s a couple years back. But now that my DT 770 cables are messed up I figured it was time to get some new headphones. I was originally going to be buying a ATH m50x for around $160 but I saw the refurbished HE400 for $250 on the headdirect page and it seems like a really great deal. One thing holding me back is that I don't really have proper amplification as this would be just going straight to my desktop/laptop. Should I just pounce on this refurbished deal or just go for the m50s? If it helps I like listening to a wide variety of music such as hiphop, pop, dnb, dubstep, instrumentals, classical.
