Does anyone know where to get a copy of Virgin Steele's Invictus album? Every online store I've tried has only a Jap import, for $45 or more, an usually out of stock. And no luck with eBay either. I've downloaded a few tracks, and they are insanely great, but I need to get my hands on the whole thing. What's funny is that VS is a US band, but I can't find this album anywhere.

I have every album by CoX, DCD, CT so I know what you want:
SWITCHBLADE SYMPHONY - all three albums
FAITH & THE MUSE - first three albums (not new one)
THIS MORTAL COIL - 1st album
DELERIUM - Karma + Semantic Spaces
COLLIDE - beneath the skin + chasing the ghost
SHROUD - dark moon night + long ago far away
LYCIA - estrella
LOVE SPIRALS DOWNWARDS - temporal (greatest hits)
This should keep you busy, I have many many more.
Iron Dreamer
Unfortunately all I see anywhere is also the expensive import
Scott
Cruxshadows also could be worth checking, I have all albums by them also.

I am trying to complete a study about music, actually metal to be exact. It seems as though older people (30 years +) actually tend to like "real" metal (not "nu-metal") ,and know more about it than, say a high-schooler! Would you agree with this? Also, could you please provide your age with you reply for my study? Thanks!

Vital-Remains : What do you consider as "real" metal? I think most of the 30+ listeners tend to like 80s metal (if they're into metal at all) and ignore nu-metal as a mtv pop. However, it is harder to know how old are the listeners of Opeth, Dimmu Borgir, COF, Tristania etc in the States. In Scandinavia, the new wave of "real" metal has most appeal to the same age group (16-25) as nu-metal, though it's rare to listen to both. Either it is real metal or nu-metal (and other MTV pop).
ps. In Finland, the new album from Dimmu Borgir did sell more than the Limp Bizkit's latest. Burn in hell, Fred Durst

Then there are people like me, it's all good!!
I like selected "Nu-Metal" bands, thought it's become a lot of the same stuff retread, you fell like saying "Hey guys, Korn already did that album".
Korn is amongst the "Nu-Metal" bands I enjoy.

PLP (picture records) are cool..........I almost got COF "dusk" PLP even though I no longer have vinyl set-up just because it was so cool looking. Check out that BLACK SABBATH s/t PLP, love how that looks.
Too bad Moonspell "wolfheart" is not PLP, would also look really cool if they centered artwork properly.
KR
What happened to MOONSPELL - Antidote?
The End has removed it from soon to arrive list

I'm starting to get quite thrilled in here. Only 28 more hours until I see Opeth live, and about 10 days from now, Dimmu will be perform on the same stage with Hypocrisy and Norther. Thank god (?) I bought my tickets in advance...

Hey ya'll!
I just thought I would make a post here since I was studying this thread for the last hour or so. I just ordered the new Dimmu Borgir digipak along with the Mercyful Fate double CD Melissa/ The Beginning from The End. And, I decided to try Lucifugum-Back to Chopped Down Roots from Black Metal.com
See, I'm still here......... I just got bored for a while.
