  Special characters are stripped from filenames, but not from path in playlist file... so my X1 can't find the file(s).
 
I have 2.54 and 'Remove most special characters' selected.

2.56 has been uploaded to the App Store to fix this. I am traveling right now, so I am unable to do a full sync to my test Daps to check, but I believe this will fix the issue.

No priority, but wanted to ask: I don't have the 'Scan DAP drive for files on every sync' checked, but still it scans my DAP on every sync. It works fine for now, but the scanning of the DAP takes up the most time when syncing. So it would improve the sync time.
 
Is this a bug ? Or do I need to change some other settings ?

Just tested the 2.55 with Composer sort and option to use it as Dap top Directory Name.
OK, the "bug" from 2.54 (post #70) is fixed is compilation. Nevertheless, I do not understaff how do you manage the Compilation option. Indeed, whatever this option is, the structure is always with the "composer" name... even with "all compilation will be place in Compilation folder" ? For example, with this option (and an album as compilation see post #72), the result is :

Yeah, thats strange - Im not seeing that at all. This files are the album art jpegs.... so something fishy there.
 
Lets move this to support.map-pin.com - can you start a case there?

I have done further tests, but really can't determine the difference between correct files copied and "wrong" ones
You can notice this here : post #81 - The files 1, 2 and last one (in the list) are very light (<20kb) whereas others are "normal"...

Seems that there is a confusion made by Dapper between the folder.jpg and the song files in this case (only in this case, with other choice of this option, the folder.jpg is created)...

One more question : on my Mac Mini (dedicated to music under OS X 10.8.5, I want to copy the files to an SSD (before transfert them to an microSD card)... The SSD is formatted as a MacOS volume. But Dapper says the volume is disconnected just after selecting it ?? Any Idea ?
