DAP for Tidal Offline

Anyone using the Fiio M6 as an offline streaming device?
Was looking at this too for an LDAC/Tidal offline standpoint and one review said you can only write to internal memory which is pretty worthless at 2gb.

Ooooo.. .sounds promising, although I'd worry be underpowered as Sony Walkmans tend to be.

Does the FiiO M11 (+Pro) and the Hiby R6 (+Pro) really support the full resolution when playing from the Tidal app?

They both do not yet support MQA as far as I understand. And when I listened to the M11 I was even wondering if it was not also subject to Android upsampling. The resolution through UAPP and FiiO BTR5 as DAC seemed better. Can someone clarify this?

Also do the iBasso DX220 and DX160 which support MQA really support full resolution with the Tidal app?

.

The screen appears as this on UAPP.

The top right corner.

Directly off of Tidal.

With it reporting 44k on uapp in the corner, it seems uapp has no problems handling mqa on the Hiby R6 Pro.

But base Tidal app get stuck upscaling from Android os.

I have abandoned Tidal for Amazon Music HD on my Hiby R6 Pro

Its the cheapest hi-res streaming, I like the layout look and searching - the (optional) scrolling lyrics are a cool addition too

So far so good - only thing is the 'next' track controls dont work to skip tracks on an album or playlist so its all screen finger taps..

Happy so far... I have cancelled Tidal and Qobuz (still have Spotify account)

I am a 'over' the does Tidal unwrap / doesn't it topic.. ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz - just give me hi res!
