For those of us with open offices and kids at home, it would be great to have the option of selecting an Aeon 2 Closed.

Understood but not possible; the closed are always way harder to build and at this price there's no way... The AEON Flow Open does provide a degree of isolation, more than any other Open headphone we make. It's sort of between a typical fully open and closed design in that regard.

So, it’s like a semi-open headphone? Just asking!

How does that mic attach? I already have an original AFC, and a Hel, and would like to know if that mic can attach to the AFC somehow.

You attach a small magnet to the side of the headphone, super easy and lets the mic detach.

Nice! Awesome deal Dan. I'd jump on it if I already didn't own a AFO.

@mrspeakers Sorry to be off topic here, but it looks like I can't make a thread somewhere else. I've never thought about closed headphones being way harder to build before. Why is that the case?

The load of the cup makes it harder to match drivers and yields are lower.
