Damn that dream sucked!

I am seriously considering shutting down this thread on the grounds it is a bad influence on the easily influenced (which includes me i guess

)

As I said earlier in the thread my dreams are always about unknown hotties with me as the Star but last night my dream took a turn I did not care for at all and that was a running gunfight (somethng I never dream about),bodies all over the joint and me pinned down with one round left in the magazine then i woke up !

I am now trying to wear myself out,get tired enough to sleep so i can "see" just how the heck I got out of that without a scratch !

I know I am good but this one is gonna be interesting to say the least and I can't wait to see how smart I am (or how lucky)

This dream thread influenced my dream.
I haven't been shot at in dreams for many many years. Last night I got shot at in a dream. Thankfully I am fast enough to side step a bullet from a 300 Winchester Magnum.

dammit, I rarely get good dreams... last night, I'm running for my life in a place I don't know... I'm not sure what's after me, but I know it's not good. Suddenly, I recognize where I am, I'm in my old neighborhood where I grew up in London. I run to my old house and go to the back yard. I spot a large trash can and jump in it. There's a small hole in the trash can that I can peer through and as I look out toward the street, I see the shadow of what ever it is that's chasing me. And it's big. Very big. I hear a familiar voice. It's my sister. She's standing outside the trash can saying "it's no use, we can't run forever and it can smell where we are"... I see her walk toward "it" and jump out of the trash can to stop her... then I wake up and feel so sad cos I know my sis "died"....

Ok, here's a bummer one.

When my son was born (10 years ago!), I was at the hospital for like 20 hours. So I went home to get some peaceful sleep away from the hospital.

Then I had the most horrible dream. I dreamt that my newborn son had died for some reason. Everyone obviously was devastated.

Don't remember much else about it, but I woke up sobbing uncontrollably!!

Ok, I gotta balance that last post of mine with something lighter!

I have dreams all the time that I'm endlessly searching for a restroom. Can't ever seem to find one, or I always find one that's full.

So I search and search, but can't seem to "go". Always seems like a public place like a movie theater or an airport. Always on the move.

Ok, you've probably guessed it by now... I wake up having to go REAL BAD.

Honest, I've never wet the bed!

I guess I'd better lay off the caffeine past 9pm.

Anyways one of the guys there got pissed at me for some reason and pulled six shooter down and unloaded it on me. I thought he missed because I did not feel anything so I grabbed a .45 and put it to his head but since I was ok I decided to just thump him on the dome with it and knock him out. Then when I looked down I saw what looked like belly buttons on my chest and stomach but they were actually holes. I was not bleeding but I could open them up and see that the round had ripped through my tissue and organs in five different places on my chest and stomach!

I had this lady there call the ambulance but since I have Kaiser I could only use there's and the only one they had was booked up for hours.

Why can't I dream about headphones or some tropical paradise!? Anyone else have any bad dreams lately??

You should read Patricia Nelson Limerick, it will get all those ideas about western out of your head and make you have dreams about being sued for your water.

I just had a dream that would have made a great zombie movie.

The only dreams I can remember are some of the most vivid, and they are often horrifying.

In one of my dreams I was walking to school with nothing on except a T-shirt. I was constantly fidgeting in the classroom pulling my shirt down to my knees so no one would see my junk. (Insecurity?)

Sometimes when I am sleeping without dreaming, I would just abruptly feel like im falling and wake up in a state of panic. When I had the flu this happened several times in a night.

In times of extreme stress I often had dreams so realistic I would wake up, and later be confused and wonder whether or not this event that happened in the dream was real or not. A few years ago I dreamt that I had bought a military style tank. I woke up, and the first thing I did was check outside. Nope, no tank.

I've had a few dreams with me in gunfights and it always has the same theme. The theme is that I cannot physically pull the trigger. It's as if the gun has a 50lb trigger pull and they usually end badly.

However, I find I don't dream very often. Perhaps once or twice a month.

Right there with yah Rick. The rare one or two dreams I remember a month usually fall into that category, although I've had a couple where I find a bunch of videogames on the cheap and buy them all.

When I was younger I remembered a lot more dreams than I do now. I once had a dream that felt like it lasted for years and I couldn't wake up no matter what I did. I've also had dreams that felt like they were a continuation to dreams I've had before, but I'm not sure if that familiarity is dreamt up or real.

A common thread is I never feel any sort of emotion in my dreams, which makes them seem very detached and unrealistic to me.

I had a most sad dream last night. Some friend of mine (who in the dream was a friend, but I have never seen in real life) for some reason wanted to see my HF-1's. After a bit of time talking to him about the phones, I reached behind me to get them and when I did, I discovered that the outer plastic cover had fallen off completely (though the phones were still connected to the headband), and on one of the drivers, it looked like someone took some very sharp object and sliced the mahogany in a straight diagonal. A very unnerving dream to say the least. I woke up this morning and the first thing I did after getting down from bed was to check that my phones were still intact and thank goodness they are. That was my first headphone related dream. Has anyone else had a similar traumatic equipment related dream?

As of the past year and a half or so, my dreams have sucked badly. Most of them involve a close friend of mine (happens to be a cute girl around my age), turn out horribly, and seems to piece together. In them, I manage to piss off this friend through no intent of my own, and am left guilty for doing so. The part I hate the most is that this has essentially happened. I pissed off this same friend of mine in real life some two months ago (the Monday before Thanksgiving), and thusly, I feel horrible about it- and I still have yet to patch things up with this friend, and I feel I lack the confidence to do so. Moreover, the fact that something that happened in a dream ended up happening really scares the bejeezus out of me sometimes

Sigh, glad I got that off my chest... Back to the music, Daiki Kasho, sing to my ears...

The weirdest dream I've ever had was a few years back. I was running through a forest at night being chased by something...I didn't know what was chasing me, but I knew it was big because it was knocking over trees. I tried to hide behind a huge tree and when I peeked around it to see if I was clear the giant beast was staring me right in the face. Ok, so the weird part is that the beast was my dog, a cockerspaniel, except it was bigger than an elephant. I screamed and grabbed a stick and jabbed him in the eye...he looked at me and said "now why would you do that?" in the snootiest british accent...that's pretty much all I remember, but it was bizarre to say the least...
