What's every bodies obsession with wallwarts? If it was inbuilt, nobody would blink twice at it.

And these days I actually seek out equipment that uses a wall wart, since it is almost certain that it will have a DC power input. That way, I can throw away the wall wart and build a nice power suppply using a Belleson super regulator and fed by SLA batteries. So when I see a wall wart, I think of the opportunity to substantially improve the sound.

It's not even listed at Cambridge Audio's official UK reseller (Richer Sounds): with Cambridge Audio being British it probably isn't going to appear in the US for a while.
