Dear friend,

Hi, we have reported to the engineer again for assessing about that. Thanks for your kind feedback.

Best regards

Please also report the freezing PO+PRE and UH issue to your engineers

:x:BT pairing NOT working again.

I did a "Reset All" after doing the firmware update. Went to Bluetooth working mode - it doesn't go to pairing mode. Tried "Reset BT" - still didn't go to pairing mode.

BUT Then I noticed my unit is again frozen in PO+PRE and UH!

@FiiO @FiiO-Yellow @FiiO Willson

FIX THIS!

The same freezing and wifi password issues (already previously reported) were NOT addressed.

Dear friend,

Hi, sorry we checked again with the engineer and they told us that the iOS version FiiO Control does not support K17 yet. But the engineers are doing the last testing. When it is available, we will release. If you have the Android mobile phone, you could use the latest version FiiO Control app for try.

According to the Apple App store, the new version of Fiio Control (Version 1.2.20) "added the function of support link for the K17."

Unfortunately, I am still unable to add the K17. As you can see in the image from my phone, the K17 is not listed as a supported device. Please explain.

In the msg you’re replying to they said it hasn’t been added yet and it being listed as available in iOS was done so erroneously. I’m not sure what else you are wanting right now..?

That message was from the day before the iOS update showed up on the Apple website. The Apple app store says that K17 is supported in the newest update.

Also, I've tried multiple times to setup a Fiio control account, just in case the lack of an account is the problem, and that doesn't work either. Absolute :poop: app.

Dear friend,

Hi, you would need to connect the K17 to the APP via the DAP option in the FiiO Control APP instead.
This FAQ may help: https://www.fiio.com/newsinfo/998795.html

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, in the current version of iOS app, there is no place to add an IP address when using the DAP option. Please click on the screenshot from today and you will see that there is no input bar below the words "Add a device".

I am able to control my K17 via the app and can change Custom EQ Names... However, I cannot get the EQ to do anything else. What am I supposed to do on the screen as I have attached? Tapping, double tapping... Nothing works. 🤷🏻‍♂️ "Advanced" doesn't take you anywhere either. :-(

Dear friend,

Hi, I checked with the engineer that iOS version FiiO Control app does not have the 'add an ip address' option. But when the K17 and your iPhone are connected to same Wifi, the K17 will show in the FiiO Control automatically. If the K17 does not show up, you could try to click the flash button for help.

Best regards

Thank you for checking. My iPhone and my K17 are on the same network - iPhone connected to router WiFi, K17 connected to router ethernet. Firmware is V183, MCU firmware is V87, and Fiio control app is V1.2.20. The instructions above do not work. Please post screen shots from an iOS device. Otherwise, we will simply wait for next versions of the firmware and iOS Fiio control app.

BTW, other than the control app, the K17 is an excellent product and I am very happy that I purchased it. I use Roon for music, Medium gain, PRE for powered speakers and sub, and PO for headphones via balanced connector. Sound quality is excellent.

Dear friend,
Hi, according to the test from the engineer, it is the bug with the APP. When EQ Jazz is selected before connection, the PEQ page in the APP will not shown correctly. You could switch to other EQ to get the page display normally again. We will improve about that in later update.
Best regards

I am able to select multiple different EQ presets and even rename the Custom ones. However, I am unable to manipulate and change the EQ settings in the Customs. The graph and values are not clickable/changeable. In the screenshot I provided, there is nothing that can be changed.

Dear friend,
Hi, the main controller V193 firmware is OTA. You could try to update to see whether the issue remains? And if you have other Wifi or Hotspot, please have a try.
And here is the pictures of connecting to K17 to iPad:

Yes, I am up-to-date. I am on the same wifi as the K17. My screen looks exactly like that. However, there is nothing I can do to change any of the EQ values (i.e. selecting a frequency, changing the gain dB values, etc.). It's literally like I'm just looking at a photo of the screen with no functionality whatsoever. Nothing is selectable or changeable. What am I missing??
