I have high expectations for this game! since my fave game of all time is the witcher 3 goty
I'm all downloaded, with new NVIDIA drivers installed. All set to start after work. Hoping I can get around 60 fps with all the ray tracing goodness enabled, but we shall see.
I hope you're running a 3080/3090, or if not are running 1440p or lower. At my 1600p resolution, the only way I was able to get close to 60FPS with RT was if I ran DLSS with ultra performance, and at that it was super blurry.
I'd personally pass on the RT for now. The game looks so good without it, and actually does a good job of emulating the look of it thanks to some really high quality screen space reflections.
I will say, I'm not sure how AMD cards are going to handle the higher settings. DLSS is absolutely crucial for 60FPS at higher resolutions, so without their own version of that I think even the 6800/6900 is going to struggle.
If anyone is considering getting a last-gen version, it looks like they're running a little rough. No telling how the One X will run it, but the One S will likely run worse than the PS4 versions. The PS4 Pro seems to be "okay" at best.
I think it's just a struggle to get the best visual out of it, and raytracing is quite difficult to get. Once all the options are on, I'm sure it's quite gorgeous. PS5 would be the choice to get the most out of the visuals other than those high-end PC graphics cards being so unnecessarily expensive.i might get this game once i get a ps5. read some things online about it not doing too good on ps4
