Cyberpunk 2077

Running this with ray tracing is absolutely brutal. Even using DLSS I can only get about 30FPS with an RTX 2080ti.

Thankfully, the game still looks staggering without RT, and I'm pretty much able to lock to 60-70FPS.

It's so easy to just get lost in the world when it looks so beautiful. Lots of little nooks to explore, quests to do, or just wander around. I've basically been playing it non-stop since it first activated.

My copy was waiting for me when I woke up this AM....PS4, with PS5 upgrades available.
Looking forward to jumping on tonight.

I'm all downloaded, with new NVIDIA drivers installed. All set to start after work. Hoping I can get around 60 fps with all the ray tracing goodness enabled, but we shall see.

I hope you're running a 3080/3090, or if not are running 1440p or lower. At my 1600p resolution, the only way I was able to get close to 60FPS with RT was if I ran DLSS with ultra performance, and at that it was super blurry.

I'd personally pass on the RT for now. The game looks so good without it, and actually does a good job of emulating the look of it thanks to some really high quality screen space reflections.

I will say, I'm not sure how AMD cards are going to handle the higher settings. DLSS is absolutely crucial for 60FPS at higher resolutions, so without their own version of that I think even the 6800/6900 is going to struggle.

If anyone is considering getting a last-gen version, it looks like they're running a little rough. No telling how the One X will run it, but the One S will likely run worse than the PS4 versions. The PS4 Pro seems to be "okay" at best.

I'm at 1440p with a 9900k & 2080ti. I am in the consistent range of 50-70 frames with everything except Cascade Shadows (Medium) on Ultra, and RT on Ultra (not Psycho). I have set DLSS to 'Performance.' Disabled Motion Blur and Chromatic Aberration.

To be honest the game doesn't look that impressive even with all these high settings and RT on. The cityscapes are very nice, and some closeup character conversations look real good, but otherwise I don't think people should stress about the graphics settings too much.

I put in about 4 hours last night on an OG PS4. I didnt run into too many issues, but the graphics leave a lot to be desired.
A good excuse to grab a PS5...if I can find one that is.

I'm running it on PC with GTX 1080 card. One thing everyone that's playing it on PC should know is to install the newest Nvidia drivers from 12/09 optimized for Cyberpunk 2077. After I installed the driver, the settings were optimized for best visuals possible for my hardware limitations.

i might get this game once i get a ps5. read some things online about it not doing too good on ps4
I think it's just a struggle to get the best visual out of it, and raytracing is quite difficult to get. Once all the options are on, I'm sure it's quite gorgeous. PS5 would be the choice to get the most out of the visuals other than those high-end PC graphics cards being so unnecessarily expensive.
