13 46-52inch HDTV's.. Imagine what audio you could buy with 30 G's..

dang! he must be furnishing a sports bar & grill or something... hahaha that's the only thing that comes to mind when someone spends that much on big HDTVs... wow

Now thats a fine musical instrument. Soichiro Honda's Sonata at 10,000RPM is quite nice.

13,000RPM makes it sound better, but you only get 20 seconds per LP side.

If a person was spending $30K, why would he go to a Brick and Mortar instead of a wholesaler? Doesn't make sense. That's $2400 in sales tax alone.

my guess is that it wasnt his money..he was purchasing for a business, group etc..

That was my first idea. I worked at a Futureshop for about a month and we had a few folks come in buying tons of gear for office party door prizes and retirements, etc.

Yep....could be for some convention....which 13 TVs is nothing compared to all their expenses. Every time I go to Siggraph, I'm wowed by how much hardware they need for 30,000 attendees.

30,000 points, or the approximate cash equivalent of 300$, really pales in comparison to 30,000$ spent

Could be for Gallagher's new act...smashing watermelons doesn't do it anymore, but $30,000 worth of tv's? Now I would definitly like to see some smashing. Ooooooo, the sound of breaking things!!!! I LUV that sound!!!!
