lols, i only auditioned both!
There's a good looking guy out there somewhere, who's also a really good friend,
said that i should take a pair of P.4+2 and ditch everything else.
He never made a mistake in recommending, Ever...
the problem is there is a lot of new iem release recently. So many great one such as dunu sa6, Est 112,Fiio fd5 , ibasso 7 and also fiio has another new one in coming. They all have great reviews too. Don't know how to choose now.
i got the q canals since 2017. part of AAW's very impressive cv is inside this as well, a world's 1st, micro dynamic
"tiny is the new big" according to the literature.
when properly powered @ 42Ω probably 1 of the largest sound field in a single dynamic driver, Height is extremely impressive for such a really tiny compartment!
Then, there are Custom Art's BA receivers - i hope their's some flavourful F7 essence in there.
I believe, personally, p.4+2 is a winner...
I really love these, they're basically a FIBAE 4 with DD bass, which is just about my ideal sound signature. Just wish the fit was better for me personally. Don't know my ear anatomy terms, but whatever the little bit of cartilage that sticks out just above the lobe pressed hard against / rubs on the shell and can get uncomfortable over time. Hopefully I just get used to it, cause I'm not willing to sell these.

... Wearing the 4+2 with the bass heavy filter, listening to Danger's 1:42, I just had my first "I forgot these were IEMs" moment, basically ever. These can hit so hard and clean.
My reference system is a pair of Martin Logan reQuests, a roughly 6x1.5ft electrostatic panel and 12" sealed woofer per side, bi-amped with 400wpc to the panels, 400wpc to the woofers. I rarely if ever forget, even for a second, I'm listening to headphones or IEMs. This is high praise.

Did anyone A/B compare AAW X Custom Art to something known/hyped and similarly priced in recent period (like UM Mest, EST 112, Variations, Teas, Oracle, Blessing 2 etc)? There is only one review I could find and there was only Nanna from somewhat known IEMs in comparison.
There is this great -25% sale til the end of the year for all IEMs from Custom Art and I am eyeing this collaboration, but on the other hand it seem like quite risky business.. This set is not known very well in the community, so might be a miss compared to similarly priced stuff widely reviewed.
