Just ordered the D90 and made use of the 10% off special...will see how it goes.

From what I've seen Gustard are unlikely to have a great implementation, if past products are anything to go by. Toppings D90 likely the better bet.

I am really interested in feedback on the YinLvMei M400 though.

They were using high end Sabre DACs which are a pain in the ass to implement properly.

I am staying away from the D90 because of the analog section seems meh for the price and I don't care about Bluetooth.

It wasn't the DAC so much as sound quality losses with their discrete output stages, as I understand it. We'll see how it turns out though, ASR will probably get one to measure quite quickly.

The Topping D90 is more enjoyable than my Metrum Pavane...I know this sounds rather strange but the thing is really good.
Have received one this morning and letting it run in.
Superfast shipping...7 days from ordering to delivery in New Zealand.
Not regretting the purchase...at all!

The D90 measures extremely well, not surprised to hear it sounds great. Where are you in NZ?

I think it is better than dx208 when using UAPP with samsung S10+.

Detail retrieval is top notch for sure. I hear a lot of micro detail.
